Go Whitecaps Go! We have loved being part of the Vancouver Whitecaps journey over the last year.
This new connection started when a band student, Levi (now grade 12), challenged the Whitecaps to send a player to perform with the band last year.
The Vancouver Whitecaps’ Kendall Waston with the MEI Screaming Eagles (Spring 2017)
Through this experience the band formed a unique friendship with Kendall Waston and was asked to perform at a Whitecaps game in September. We were then invited to play at the playoff game Sunday, October 29th. This was an exciting experience for us as we watched the game from a suite and joined in the playoff energy by providing pre-game and halftime entertainment. The Screaming Eagles Marching Band continues to represent MEI at high profile events and is looking forward to a busy Christmas season.
