The MEI community is invited to attend the celebration of life for beloved teacher, Mr. Rudy Dyck on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the South Langley Community Church at 20098 22nd Avenue in Langley.

Mr. Dyck was a beloved chemistry teacher who taught at MEI from about 1974-2002. He was known by students for his kindness, enthusiasm, and how he somehow managed to seem “surprised” by his crazy science experiments. His daughter Janice said of him, “…the greatest gift he left me was to be curious to learn more about Jesus every day, to accept that I make mistakes -it’s all part of learning it doesn’t change my “value” in God’s eyes, I am loved…be willing to admit I need Jesus and trust Him”.
