A message from Paul Penner, MEI Board President

As you know, the mission of MEI Schools is to equip students for life and forever, which serves as the focal point for everything we do, ensuring that MEI provides your children with an enriching and life-shaping experience.

I want to communicate the importance of current fundraising efforts [like the Legacy Dinner on Saturday, April 30] and the need for the engagement of our parent and alumni community in the fundraising process.

In order to keep tuition as low as possible we rely on fundraising efforts. Tuition, government grants, supporting church levies, and our international program do not completely cover the cost of educating your children. The MEI Development Department endeavors to accomplish this in a variety of ways, with the two main fundraisers being the annual Christmas Appeal and Legacy Dinner.

Here are some ways that you can get involved:

» Contribute financially. If you have the means, consider giving above and beyond regular tuition fees.

» Become involved in the Legacy Dinner [Saturday, April 30th @ 6:00 pm]
As a part of the event this year we are pleased to announce that Brian Doerksen (MEI alumnus 1980) & band (Shiyr Poets) will be blessing us with their anointed music.

  • Be a Sponsor
MEI will provide recognition for your company/business at the event (verbally, and on signage), in our bi-annual “Connections” publication, on our website, and in social media streams (Facebook, Twitter). Your sponsorship will help assure the success of the MEI Legacy Dinner.  We are offering opportunities at four levels – $500, $750, $2,500, and $5,000 to cover the total cost of the evening.  Please contact bgascon@meischools.com.
  • Attend – Click to purchase tickets, or contact the MEI Development Department via email or phone 604.859-3700 ext. 326
  • Invite guests.
  • Pray – that God will be glorified!

Thank you for being a vital part of the MEI community, and for partnering with the school in this important endeavour.
