MEI is asking friends and supporters take up The Great Canadian Giving Challenge in the month of June. It is a national public contest to benefit any registered Canadian charity.

Each $1 donated to MEI in June (minimum $3 donation) automatically enters us to win the $10,000 prize.
($3 donation = 3 draw entries)

Only donations given using the button below qualify:

We’d use the $10,000 winnings to develop outdoor learning spaces around our campus, of which we are in urgent need.

“The new BC curriculum has created space for teachers to inspire and engage students in their learning as never before. In order for children to ask questions, investigate and collaborate, we need to provide physical areas for them to learn and grow together. At MEI, we envision adding learning areas both inside and outside as a support to the new curriculum and the strategies teachers will use in the coming months and years.” Vijay Manuel – MEI Head of Schools

Outdoor learning breathes life into the concepts learned in classrooms.

Research shows that students better absorb and retain math, science, language arts, and other skills when they are understood within the framework of their immediate environment and incorporate all five senses.

Every gift counts and we thank you in advance for you helping us reach our goal. Please pass along the challenge to family and friends!
