Programs
The MEI International Program strongly believes in the development of the whole person. We support not only academic pursuits, but strongly support athletics, the Arts, and community involvement. Each student is required to regularly attend a local English speaking Christian church and is also expected to participate in all the International Program’s extra-curricular activities. The MEI Schools community desires to make each International student feel welcomed and valued, appreciating both their differences and passions to achieve English academic success.
Activities
The MEI International Program ensures that all international students have a chance to participate in a number of Canadian activities. Each month, the entire International Program goes on an outing — students spend time with each other as well as learn about Canadian culture.
Students have found these activities fun and exciting, and the memories made continue to be highlights for many students:
- Canadian Food Night
- Weekend Away (Grades 9/10)
- Movie Night
- Downtown Vancouver Shopping and Dinner night
- Skiing at Whistler
- Hockey Game
- Ethnic Food Night
- Grad Weekend Away (Grades 11/12)
- Beach for the Day
