Your donation to one of our Performing Arts Programs helps provide expert coaching, instruments and equipment, sets and costumes, and the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that makes every performance possible. Together, we can keep the stage lit – so more young artists can create, collaborate, and thrive. Donations of $25 or more will receive a charitable donation receipt.
Donation Policy
All donations made to an MEI Performing Arts Program are non-refundable. Per CRA guidance “A registered charity cannot return a donor’s gift. At law, a gift transfers ownership from the donor to the charity. Once the transfer is made, the charity is obliged to use the gift in carrying out its charitable purposes.”
Each restricted contribution designated toward a specific program or project will be used as allocated, with the understanding that when the need for such program or project has been met, or it cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the MEI Head of Schools, the remaining funds will be used in accordance with MEI Schools’ charitable purposes and priorities.
