The annual salary for each teacher position is determined by qualifications and experience for placement on the July 1, 2025, MEI Teacher Salary Grid. For the 2025-2026 school year, a full-time, BC Certified Teacher salary (with a certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare and with a university degree and a professional teacher education program) ranges from $67,039 to $109,995.

Bus Driver – Casual/On Call position ($28.66/hour)
MEI is looking for a casual/on-call bus driver to handle field trips and cover routes as needed. A Class 2 Driver’s License is required. Applicants with school bus driving experience are preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
