A small convocation (gathering of eagles) from the class of 1993 gathered 27th August to relive their youth, share a laugh and enjoy a tour of the school. As with any visit down memory lane, identities were mistaken, as laughter mingled with exclamations of, ‘This looks so small’, and “I remember when that teacher said / did this….”
In particular, the shop class, drama room and sewing room seemed to evoke the most reaction, with a lively debate recalling who was the worst at stitching, who caused the most trouble backstage, and who would get tossed out of shop class most often for misbehaving.
Following a shared potluck, chuckle at old yearbook photos, and a flurry of selfies, the wonderful Denise opened up the campus and the gym for a group photo.
Our thanks to the school administrators for opening up the campus and for all those who organized and participated in the event. Hopefully we see more of you next reunion- with much love and fondness for that most awkward of times and much celebration for how far you’ve all come!
