About Us

The Mennonite Educational Institute (MEI) is a private Christian school that teaches children from preschool through grade 12. We are presently one of the largest private schools in BC with elementary, middle, and secondary campuses in Abbotsford, and a K – grade 9 campus in Chilliwack. Our International Program began in 1998 with 7 students. Today, we host 50 – 60 students from Grade 1 – 12. We operate under three foundational principles, and they are:

Integration

  • This is done on a per student basis with consideration given to their language ability, behaviour, and attitude

Support

  • We provide exceptional support to all our students in the areas of academics, homestay, graduation, university counseling, character development, etc…

Language Enhancement

  • Additional core curriculum classes in English
  • After-school tutoring support
  • In–school academic support

If you have any inquiries about our International Program feel free to email any comments, questions or concerns, to us at klynn@meischools.com and we will try to answer any questions or work on anything that you think is needed. The more feedback we get, the better. So don’t be shy, email us and we will do our best to put your concerns and questions on the net.
